Lossiemouth East Beach is the more popular of the two beaches in Lossie, the 'Jewel of Moray'. Being close to the harbour, the bars, ice-cream parlours and eateries of the promenade makes it a must for family holidays and days out at the beach. The stunning sea swells also make it popular with surfers and surf hire and lessons are available. Dominated by the mighty sand dunes, the area provides circular walk upriver from the mouth of the Lossie and into the nearby woods. Look out for birds, seals and the famous bottlenose dolphins. The promenade location makes this easy for drop-offs and pick-ups straight from the beach.
