No surprises to learn that Speyside hosts one of the most respected events on the whisky calendar. The festival takes place at various locations throughout Moray at the beginning of May every year. For five days, all the major distilleries of Speyside throw open their doors to a global audience of whisky and food lovers with over 500 events on offer to celebrate Scotland’s national drink. Events include whisky tastings, tours, ceilidhs, auctions and awards. With such a massive range of events (and whiskies!) to get through it pays to book your rides early.
